Brandon's weight
14lbs 7oz! I thought he was a huge baby due to wearing 6/9 month sleepers, but he's in the lower range of normal I believe her words were "he's perfect!" I already knew that though lol

Funny scrap page I made
He didn't actually hit him, he was screeching really loud on purpose though knowing it upsets Brandon but I had a word art already saying "he hit me" so I figured I'd use it ;)
Bue eyed boy
Brandon's eyes are still blue. I'm so curious to see what colour they'll turn out. Draven's have turned more green just this past month! How weird!
Draven's are hazel like mine so he always did have green in them, but they seem more green/gray lately. Can they still change at this age? I'm wondering if he'll have Shane's eyes, or maybe a mix of both? Shane's are bright green.
This is what makes me wonder...
This is Draven at 6 months old, his eyes were bright blue also still at this age
And here's Brandon at almost 6 months old, same colour as what Dravens were at the time

Made in Britain
My close-up of him
After Shane's parents got Draven the "born in the USA" shirt, I picked this one up for Brandon, just to confuse people when they're both wearing them when we're out
"Stop taking my picture Mummy!!"
And I just had to throw this one in again

Brandon's 1st solids
A pot of Apple Sauce today. It was his very 1st thing he's ever eaten before that wasn't just milk!
I'm not going to consistently start him on solids until he's 6 months old, but he's 5.5 months now so I figured to try it out won't hurt him.
I couldn't tell if he loved it or hated it, but the faces he pulled were priceless
Most of the jar ended up all over his bib, as I put it in his mouth, so he spat it out, so I don't think he got much out of it anyway lol

Bye Bye Baby Swing!
I can't keep the swing anymore
I noticed last night when Brandon was in it that he likes to poke his head out the side to watch Draven play with his Thomas trains.
I forgot he likes to do this now, so I put him in the swing this morning and thought nothing of it. Then I saw his head had gone through the side (between the plastic bar that holds the rattles, and the metal bar that holds the swing up!).
I couldn't pull it out!
I tried to twist him, turn him, nothing worked. So in a panic I called my mum and told her to get over here asap (this was at 6:55am!). I then called Shane and told him (he was about to walk into work). So I tried again to free his head and faced him down and pulled his head free ~ YEAY!!!
I called my mum quickly and told her not to worry (she was already halfway here having woken dad up to give her a lift ~ oops! lol). Then I called Shane and told him Brandon's out. Shane said he's proud of me for not going into complete panic mode (I panic quickly over my kids!) and dealing with the situation lol.
I'm so glad I got his head out though or else I'd have had to call the fire brigade!

I think Brandon will be crawling soon
Draven never did crawl, he bum shuffled. But Draven wasn't much for rolling & tummy time either, whereas Brandon loves to roll onto his tummy and lean right up to be nosey
So Brandon 1st rolled over when he was 4 months old to the day. 14the June he rolled over from back to belly rolling over his left side to do it.
Last week he learned to roll from belly to back.
Then over the weekend he learned to roll back to belly again over on his right side.
So basically he can now roll in any given direction, belly to back, back to belly etc.
Now... he's bringing his knees up and shuffling forward on his belly. It really won't be long until he realises if he uses his hands too, he can really go places with this!
He's already making his way all over the floor without actually crawling... I dread the upcoming months! lol
